A beautiful Navajo Chief’s Blanket, dating to approximately 1900–1920, in a classic 3rd Phase graphic style. The narrow banding and smaller scale suggest this was likely woven as a woman’s piece. Woven with homespun yarns, the blanket features rich red and blue Aniline dyes, creating a distinctive graphic palette and timeless Southwestern character. A wonderful early Navajo textile with both historical and artistic appeal.
